Join New York Adventure Club for an exclusive after-hours tour of the General Grant National Memorial, the final resting place of Ulysses S. Grant (1822–1885), the 18th President of the United States.
Led by a National Park Ranger, our special experience will include:
- A short film and exhibit in the visitor center.
- A discussion around the history of the memorial, from its controversial NYC-based location to the record-breaking private funding for its construction.
- Special after-hours access inside the largest mausoleum in the Western Hemisphere where President Ulysses S. Grant and his wife Julia lay side by side.
- A closer look at the murals, sculptures, and Civil War flags in the dimly-lit chambers.
